... a trip on a tram into Birmingham, and a whistle-stop tour of Birmingham, followed by a great meal with great company!

... Bubs and I went to Webbs of Wychbold to the Hobbycraft store, and then had a cuppa in the cafe while learning lines for Drama class...
... crocheted baby blanket finished... the colour doesn't show up well at all on my red carpet... really enjoyed working with this yarn and crocheting up the huge Granny Square...
... shopping deserves a tea-break... doesn't it?!... well, when at Merryhill Shopping centre you NEED a break when trying to shop...
... a bit of 'cookie therapy' in a somewhat fraught week...
... our sunflowers are a little late in flowering this year... probably because I managed to kill most of them off with weedkiller, duh!
... my Staghorn Sumac tree is always the first to show that Autumn is fast approaching...
... 2 weeks of this... piles of sicky clothes to wash and much time in bed :o( Poor old Spike is struggling with a huge overload of anxiety since returning to school and has been making himself sick every day, several times a day... it is heart-wrenching to watch, and so very difficult to know what to do... desperately seeking wisdom from the Lord...

The happy times were from before school started back! I did not see the sad times coming, it's been a shock :o(
