On the Camera

Where does time go to?! Here's a big catch-up from the beginning of November...

... we actually managed to grow a pumpkin this year that wasn't eaten by the slugs!...

 ... front garden tidy-up time...

... a visit to Hartlebury Castle... I just love this Lime tree with all its mistletoe...
... a pretty bargain... all the flowers reduced from £7.99 to £1.50! They lasted a good 2 weeks...

... Frankie & Benny's with Daddy...

... Coughton Court... we were excited to be able to visit this National Trust property on 5th November, because the house and its occupants had a huge role to play in the Guy Fawkes saga... very interesting! Followed by sparklers in the evening...

... with the kids' History Club and their Consultancy work, we got to visit the Almonry Heritage Centre in Evesham... what a place!

... Bubs' Play with her Drama Club - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... Bubs was Verucca Salt! She did so very well and enjoyed herself immensely!

... a brief visit to Merryhill shopping centre made Bubs shrink in size! She was also treated to a 'proper' (ie not one that I do!) manicure and nail art (which after 3 weeks is still managing to hang around!).
... a wintry walk to Brinton's Park when Spike and I sat and cuddled (he wasn't feeling well) and Bubs scooted around on her scooter!
... a relaxing cuppa (and cake!) at Barnett's Hill, one of our favourite Garden Centres...
... another favoured Garden Centre, Webbs of Wychbold... we were browsing the Christmas section...
... 'do you like my new glasses?!'

... Reindeers! This one was called Scooby...
... a not too amused Spike... he DIDN't want to see the Reindeers!...

 ... cousins watcing the skating...
 ... some cooking...

... having a go at skating!...
... big girls don't sew... they use the sewing machine! we crafted a couple of owls together and it is pretty much all sewn on the machine... Bubs did so very well!

... that place again! we've just 'discovered it' and really like it!...

... great refreshing walk in the Wyre Forest to clear the cobwebs from our minds... followed by a very delicious hot chocolate with trimmings!
 ... happy fruit!

... our first wee dusting of snow! of course, the kids were eager to get out in it as soon as possible, so we had a good snowball fight before school, and made these tiny snow people...

Can't believe you've already had snow there! Looks lovely! And of course all the things you get to do and see .. living vicariously through these posts!
