On the Camera

I didn't think I had much on my camera! Seems there is quite a bit... though it probably only comprises of a handful of events!

 This just missed making it into March's list of completed items, but will look good for April since I haven't managed to finish any other WIPs... in fact, I've broken my rule and *started* some more work before finishing previous things! This is a blanket I made for Bubs - her choice of colours.

Easter Monday church walk at the Severn Valley Country Park... what a day! We have been so very spoilt with wonderful weather days lately.

An amazing Home Ed group meeting, with the 'Animal Man'. I couldn't seem to get any decent photos... the lighting was all wrong (well, that's my excuse!)... but I couldn't not put up any photos of the time! We saw snakes, tarantula, meetcats, genets, coatimundi, skunk, love bird, ducklings, african hedgehog, snapping turtle... Bubs was very brave and did some handling; Spike was brave in that he didn't run away and he tried to stand close to the animals!

Ahhhh... this is what I love about this time of year - green everywhere, and the wonderful splashes of yellow Oil Seed.

Bubs won a competition! Ok, so an administration error meant that she's only just found out she won the competition, and erm, well, I don't suppose she'll be needing to use the Advent Calendar just now!! Winner... 6 months ago!!

At the cinema, to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie. Poor old Eeyore...

 

Watching the Royal Wedding at Grama and Grampas (bigger TV screen!). Bubs had her special William and Catherine Sylvanian Family characters with her of course (for some reason I can't upload their photo).

 Well, we don't normally 'do' anything for my birthday... but I couldn't resist taking us for a day at Cadbury World! Yum!

 A really fantastic Home Ed group day out at Hill Close Gardens in Warwick. We all had a fab time, and sun shone!

 Two new wee friends! I'm so enjoying watching the Robin and the Blue Tits in the garden at the moment... I really don't normally go for ornaments, but these 2 just SO sum up the wee birds in the garden that I could not resist!

Bubs passed her first grading, and she's well chuffed to be out of the white belt stage now!

 My birthday... and sweet presents from my sweet girl.

A walk with the kids, Pooh Sticks (with amazingly large sticks!), time to play (the kids) and ponder (me)... and a Robin sitting singing his heart out *just for me*, on my birthday - what more could a person want?

 History Club - getting the graffiti board up and secured in place... stamping our mark on Hartlebury Castle!
