Huge Catch-up! Part 3
And so it continues!...

Cousins... not a great photo... but then it was more of a knee-jerk reaction something like 'Arghh... they're sitting together... where's the camera?' click...
Day Four... after seeing more special friends (no photo :o( ), Aunt Jill treated us to an outing to an event at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh... so we waited for a bus...

Couldn't get the camera to co-operate with a nice pic of the ticket, so a blurred one will have to surfice! It was a lovely event. I knew Bubbles would enjoy it... never sure how Spike it going to take to something - but he thoroughly enjoyed it too, and joined in very well, I was very proud of him.

Day Five... rain! A trip out to the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena... for a midday snack... and the fun of watching folk climb up the walls! Bubbles said she'd like to do that one day, so she's decided she needs to strengthen her arms and legs in preparation!
Ikea of course! It's a bit further to go to our 'local' Ikea now... I had a letter through from them saying I'd only made one trip to them in the past 2 months... I guess that's what happens when you have further to travel!
Day Six... we took a Day Ticket on the bus, and headed for Ocean Terminal... looked out at the Royal Yacht Britannia (but didn't go on it), and paid a visit to Build-a-Bear Workshop...

Then on to see another Fringe Festival performace called Baxterbear, at the very posh Caledonian Hotel... that is Baxter that Bubbles is standing with... fortunately he didn't come upstairs for the performance, otherwise it might have been a disaster with Spike - who certainly does not trust any large characters like that!
This is what it did the moment we stepped on the bus for home... rain! So glad it waited till we were sitting comfortably!

Day Seven... a short walk down the Water of Leith... then to the Water of Leith Visitor Centre... very interesting... then on the bus again with our Day Tickets...
... to Portobello Beach! It wasn't overly warm... but the sun did come out... and the kids had fun!...

Back down to Ocean Terminal to pick up Bubbles and my Ceramic masterpieces (hmmm... no picture for showing!)... then some fun... can you see the kids 'diving' in the fish bowl?!

Back on the Mock Tram again... the kids were very taken with it! They got to sit in the cab this time. I asked the lady on duty inside if they had started making the trams yet... 'o yes, we've made 7 already' ... and where are they being made?... Spain! I REALLY wanted her to say in GB
