Moving On...

After moving out of our old house on 9th January (all our belongings having gone into storage) we went on to enjoy a wonderful weekend's hospitality with John & Roberta... I don't entirely know WHY I didn't take any photos in that time :o( My brain must have been on holiday.

After that we enjoyed a lovely couple of days with Aunt Jill. We celebrated Aunt Jill's birthday with her and had a last visit to Edinburgh Zoo.

Then we had to say goodbye to Edinburgh and our friends, and amid tears and excited thoughts we headed down to England and Kidderminster on 15th January 2009.

5 Minute Chocolate Cake In A Mug

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp plain flour
4 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Egg
3 Tbsp milk
3 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
small splash of vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:
~Add dry ingredients to a coffee mug, and mix well
~Add the egg and mix thoroughly
~Pour in the milk and oil and mix well
~Add the chocolate chips and vanilla extract (IF using) and mix again
~Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes (based on 1000 watts). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out.
