Trying to catch falling leaves... before they reach the ground... it's fun - give it a go!

Trimpley Reservoir... waiting by the SVR line... waiting for
The Tornado to make one of it's twice-daily round trips.
... nope, that's not it!... not yet...
We will re-visit the Reservoir... it looks great for walks... but for now, we are just waiting for The Tornado...
... waiting... (the ear muffs? ah, the only way for a certain boy to tolerate the presumed noise that the train will make!)
... nope, not this train either!
... passing time, fungi hunting!
THERE SHE GOES!... in a flash... gone... The Tornado.
Stopping at Sainsburys for a Slush Puppy... euch! if the colouring stains the tongue like that... imagine what his insides look like!
Beckford Silk... we were going to Beckford for our Home Ed group, and thought we'd make a day out and visit the Silk factory close by... unfortunately, due to them not having had water for 48 hours, there was no printing going on for us to see... but the owner very kindly showed us up to the print rooms and told us what would normally happen... so it was interesting all the same. Very pricey! Could only afford some off-cuts... which I hope to make into a patch-work cushion cover.
In the park... for a picnic lunch and a play before the Home Ed group.
It was a craft session at the group... Spikes group made pencil tins, with a mosaic covering.
Bubbles group did some weaving.
