Snails *everywhere*! I've never seen so many... these ones are in a little corner of the front garden which seems to be some kind of communal grave yard... we're not sure if they are going there of their own accord, or if something is taking them there...
One of the boats leaving the Sealine factory across the road... despite the cut in jobs that is supposed to have taken place, they still seem to be getting boats out quite regularly.
Our Geography lesson this week... we've started a new course called 'Geography Through Art' which I think will be really fun. We had to draw the World from Space... since I'm hopeless at getting the continents the right shape, we decided to make our own up! Spike's picture looks like the world is disintregating!... and in mine I have completely forgotten that the world is 71% water and only 29% land - well, maybe all the water is on the 'other' side of my picture? I think Bubbles got things just about right.
2 of the 'rescued' snails that now live in their own house.
Great Home Ed meet at the Severn Valley Country Park... a scavenger hunt, led by one of the Park Rangers. It was nice for the first 15 or 20 minutes of the time, then it hailed and finally poured for the rest of the time... we were all pretty soaked, but a great time was had by all!
Our collection from the scavenger hunt.

A couple of experiments we are doing, not sure how successful they will be! The first is to try and grow a 'stalagtite'; and the second is an experiment to do with fossils... neither seem to be working awfully well at the moment, but maybe we need more patience!
Fun on the Clent Hills... we went looking for Blue bells... there weren't as many out as we thought there would be (they're all in my garden instead!), but we had a lovely time anyway. Behind these rocks are Spike, Grama and Bubbles (believe it or not!).

contemplating the view... together - in their own way!
